ATM
There are two Bank of America ATM machines located on the first floor of the Campus Center, across from the Office for Campus Life.
AV Cart
The Office for Campus Life has a portable AV Cart for use by recognized student organizations and campus departments holding a meeting in the Campus Center. There is no charge for using this equipment. The AV Cart contains a TV, DVD player and VCR. Please reserve the AV Cart through the R25 reservation system. Office for Campus Life staff will set the cart up prior to your meeting in your reserved meeting space.
Bike Pump
Rode your bike to campus and now you’ve got a flat? The Office for Campus Life has a bike pump on hand to assist you with your repairs. Stop by the Campus Center Information Booth for more information and to sign it out.
Campus Center Tables
The Office for Campus Life has up to five spaces available Monday through Friday for tabling by student organizations. Reservations are made via the R25 reservation system and are available on a “first come first served” basis. Tables must be requested at least three days in advance. Students should report to the Office for Campus Life for assistance setting up their table at the start of their reservation.
Information Booth
The Information Booth greets visitors of the Mater Campus Center as they walk in the doors. Besides offering directions and other information, the Info Booth sells tickets to on-campus events, discount movie passes, books of stamps and airmail stamps, and signs out equipment for the pool and ping-pong tables in the lounge. The Info Booth also provides a public fax service for both incoming and outgoing fax transmissions. There is a small fee for this service, and the number for receiving faxes is 617-627-3840. The booth can accept cash or JumboCash and can be reached by telephone at 617-627-3145.
Jumbocash Machine
Students may add JumboCash at a machine located in the main lobby. JumboCash can be used for food at on and off campus locations, laundry, The Rez, and at the InfoBooth. For more information on JumboCash, please check out the Tufts dining website.
Karaoke Machine
The Office for Campus Life has a mobile karaoke machine available for use by recognized student organizations for use in the Mayer Campus Center. There is no charge for using this equipment, but student organizations must hire Event Staff to run the machine during their event. The karaoke machine must be reserved in advance through the R25 reservation system. Student organizations will be required to attend an Event Registration Meeting at least two weeks prior to their event. Event Staff will be responsible for setting up, running, and breaking down the karaoke machine.
Lounge Spaces
The Campus Center Lounge offers students, faculty and staff a place to relax, watch television or play a game of ping-pong or pool. New furniture and a two large, flat screen televisions make it a popular place to have lunch, study, chat with friends or just hang out. On the top floor, couches and study tables provide a quiet place to study. There are also tables on the second floor for individual group study on a first-come, first-served basis.
Projectors
The Office for Campus Life has two projectors available to recognized student organizations for use in the Mayer Campus Center. There is no charge for using this equipment, but student organizations will be held responsible for any damages or lost equipment during use. Projectors must be reserved in advance through the R25 reservation system. Projectors are listed as “OCL Projector 1” and “OCL Projector 2.” Once you have reserved a projector, it will be picked up at the Campus Center Info Booth. Please leave your ID with the employee on duty. Projectors must be turned in to the Campus Center Info Booth at the end of the reservation.
Vans
The Office for Campus Life has two, seven passenger mini vans that are available for rent by recognized student organizations. Reservations are made via the R25 reservations system and a tentative confirmation received a MINIMUM of one week in advance. Reservations are on a “first come first served” basis. The reservation is not confirmed until a completed interdepartmental requisition (IDR) and a copy of the driver’s license are received (at least three business days in advance of requested date). Drivers must complete an online driver training course in order to drive one of the OCL vehicles. Keys cannot be signed out until all paperwork has been received and approved.
Vending
The Office for Campus Life allows vendors to sell their merchandise in the Campus Center Lobby. Stop by the Campus Center daily to see what is for sale! If you are interested in vending, please download and return the Vendor Application Form.
