All programs will take place during Open Blocks on Mondays from 12 noon – 1 pm in the Mayer Campus Center All are welcome.  No reservations necessary.  Feel free to bring your lunch.  Beverages and dessert will be provided.

Oops!  I Missed the Executive Summit! 

Everything you need to know about managing your student organization, hosting events, and utilizing University services and resources.  Every group must have had at least one member attend this session.  If you missed this mandatory program last week…here’s your last chance.

Building Your Group’s Membership!

What have you done with that list from the Activities Fair?  Do you know how to structure your Executive Board.  This session will give you great ideas on recruiting and retaining members of your organization, as well as gain information on how to structure, build and organize your group.

Budgeting 101!

In this session meet with representatives from the Campus Life Financial Office to learn everything you need to know about your group’s budget.  You will learn how to read your PeopleSoft reports, plan for future programs, and understanding procedures for completing necessary budget paperwork.  Discussion will include the proper procedures for contracts, W-9 forms, getting checks and making payments, getting reimbursed…and everyone’s favorite procedure, filling out an IDR!

Who’s Who on Campus and How Can They Help You?

Do you know there are numerous resources available right on campus to help you with your group’s programming?  Do you know there are funds and financial grants available for different type’s of student programming.  Come and get an insiders view of all the campus resources available to you and your organization.  You’ll learn who’s who and how they can help you.

Transitioning Your Organization!

Is your group changing leadership?  Is it election time?  Are you leaving your position?  This session will review strategies for successfully transitioning your organization.  Learn how to sustain your leadership and keep your group moving forward.
