At the start of each year student organizations are required to mandatory information meetings. Student organizations not represented at the mandatory fall meetings risk losing budget and space reservation access.
This event is for currently recognized student organizations only. The New Student Organization application process begins later in September.
NOTE: The previously mentioned OCL Executive Seminars will NOT be happening this year. Organization contacts should check email for details on other upcoming information sessions and training.
TCU Treasury Meetings
The TCU Senate Treasury offers mandatory treasury meetings for all TCU Senate Funded Organizations. Once again, these meetings are required for TCU Senate Funded Organizations Only. This meeting, presented by the TCU Senate Treasurer, details important treasury procedures for the coming year. This meeting is offered twice each fall semester to accommodate schedules. Both organization Treasury Signatories are required to attend one of these meetings. Wednesday September 11 and Thursday September 12, 8 pm – 9 pm, ASEAN Auditorium – Cabot. No registration is necessary. Once again both signatories are required to attend.
Financial Stewardship Training
Presented by Audit and Management Advisory Services, this one hour workshop will give you the skills to effectively manage your group’s budgetary operations and use some management best practices to ensure your student organization achieves its financial goals. Each student organization should send at least one person to this workshop. Recommended for treasurers, budget managers, however anyone is welcome to attend either session. Pizza lunch will be served. Monday September 23 and Wednesday September 25, 12 noon, Campus Center 220
